Point Announces Full Time Status for Jason Rejfek

Jason Rejfek, assistant coach going into his second season with the Skyhawk football team, is now a full time coach. A 2012 Physical Education graduate of Mckendree University in Illinois, Rejfek is a former linebacker himself making All Conference in 2010 and 2011. Originally from Illinois, Rejfek began coaching the Point University linebackers in 2012 and will be Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Back coach for 2013.

Head coach, David Rocker, has this to say about Rejfek, "It is great to have Coach Rejfek moving to full-time status. In order to have a successful football team you must surround yourself with great assistant coaches and Jason Rejfek is one of them. I believe in having a strong defense and Rejfek understands that and has fully embraced what is needed to make it great. Even as a coach he is a student of the game and puts in long hours working to build the caliber defense that I desire to have here at Point. He has truly been a valuable asset since his arrival last season and I look forward to him being here at Point for years to come."
