Skyhawks Place Three on WGCA All-American Scholar Team

WEST POINT, Ga. – Three members of the Point University women's golf program have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom, earning 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors.

Claire Brown, Kadi Huguley and Kayla Silvers are among 1,604 women's collegiate golfers to have received the distinction. Selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team is among the most rigorous academic honors in collegiate athletics, highlighting the student-athletes' exceptional commitment to academic success. To be chosen, a student-athlete must:

• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

• Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.

• Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

The Point University Skyhawks begin their 2026-27 season at the Reinhardt Invitational. The event takes place August 31 and September 1 at City Club Marietta in Marietta, Georgia.
