Bio

Coach Penny enters his first season as the Assistant Coach at Point University. Hogan Penny originally was born and raised in the Lone Star State in Fort Worth, Texas. Penny is not a stranger to College Athletics as he played Collegiate Baseball at Wayland Baptist University and Upper Iowa University. As Hogan Penny transitioned to life after Baseball, he realized his love for the game was still within and worked for Perfect Game for Three Years. His first coaching opportunity followed as he coached the Outfielders and Hitters at Trinidad State Junior College. Penny continued to add to his coaching experience by transitioning to coaching infielders and hitters at Northwest Oklahoma State University where he was also the Head JV Coach. Hogan Penny has spent his summers as a coach/groundskeeper at the Vermont Lake Monsters in the Futures League. Hogan Penny is the son of Jerry and Kelly Penny and has three siblings (Riley, Alexis, and Dalton Penny). He is also married to Cassidy Penny. Coach Penny will be a great addition to Point University Baseball as the Skyhawks continue to add characters that fit the mold for the program.
