Point University Skyhawks Fall to Webber Warriors in Conference Clash

WEST POINT, Ga. (April 5, 2025) - In a challenging conference encounter, the Point University Flag Football Team was outmatched by the Webber Warriors, concluding with a final score of 20-6. Despite a passionate performance, the Skyhawks could not overcome the Warriors' lead, which was established early in the game and maintained through halftime. 
 
Point managed the score the first touchdown of the game in the first quarter showing offensive skills from Corriah Williams and Leah Prather. Prather's and Williams's performances were a highlight for Point University, alongside crucial contributions from Christian Wright, who added 19 rushing yards to the team's offensive efforts. Defensively, Chinera Shaheed stood out with an impressive two sacks, marking key moments of resistance against Webber.

Corriah Williams went 22-for-33 with 126 passing yards. Aniya Robinson led with 6 receptions for 53 yards. Nyleigha Knighton led defensively with 9 flag pulls.
