Hafltime Deficit Too Much To Overcome

THOMASVILLE, Ga.  - - Thomas opened up a 22-point halftime lead en route to a 71-54 women's basketball victory over Point Thursday.

The Hawks made 13 shots from beyond the arc in the win, led by Zyi'Kiera King who made five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 21 points.

The Skyahwks played just six players in the contest and were held to a trio of made triples. Zariah Fannin played all 40 minutes and netted a team-best 14 points.

Thomas had 11 players receive game-time with 10 reaching the scoring column. Destiny Hill tallied 10 points with LaTarius Montgomery grabbing 11 rebounds to aid in the victory.

Alecia Donaldson and Anlyah Wesley had 11 points each in defeat.

Point will look to pick up a win Saturday when the team travels to Abraham Baldwin.
