Skyhawks Take First Place at Point Spring Invitational
LAGRANGE, Ga. - The 2026 Point Spring Invitational was a prosperous event for the Point University Skyhawks women's golf program, as they took first place at their home tournament at Highland Country Club. They finished ahead of Tennessee Wesleyan, Southern Union State, LaGrange, Faulkner, and Reinhardt.
Point posted a +74 in Round 1 and followed it with a +57 in the final round for a combined +131 as a team.
Eryn Blakeley was named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week after she finished in second place overall, shooting 11 strokes over par in the opening round and 13 over in round two for a total of 6.80 points. She was followed by fellow Skyhawks Kadi Huguley and Kayla Silvers, who tied for third after matching each other's total of 5.30 points.
Huguley tied for first with 16 pars alongside SUSCC's Kylee Lynn, while Blakeley's three birdies also tied her for the most with Samantha Roper (Reinhardt) and Alexa Fontane (LaGrange).
