Skyhawks Dominate Oakwood University

West Point, Ga. - In a sensational display of skill and teamwork, the Point University Skyhawks secured a remarkable victory against the Oakwood Ambassadors in a regular college soccer event on September 7, 2025, at the River Bowl Stadium. The game ended with a stunning scoreline of 15-0 in favor of the Skyhawks.

From the outset, the Point University women's team, known as the Skyhawks, exhibited a potent offensive performance, highlighted by their powerhouse scoring within the first 10 minutes of play. Brooke Wiseley and Konstantina Kolousiou each netted two goals, contributing significantly to the team's robust score. Emilie Meza, Haley Sklba, Lizvet Chirinos (2 goals), Kristina Diaz, Naomi Tilley (2 goals), Isabel Sanchez, Hailey Hull, Derricka Lewis, and Brianna Salazer also scored, showcasing a well-rounded offensive effort from the Skyhawks. The halftime score sharply reflected Point University's dominance with an 8-0 lead over Oakwood.

Defensively, the Skyhawks were just as impressive. Goalkeeper Seline Flores played a pivotal role, earning special recognition for achieving a shutout. Flores' skillful goalkeeping ensured that the Ambassadors were unable to turn any of their plays into scores.
