Skyhawks Win Thriller Over Rio Grande

Valley, AL - In a pivotal regular-season, conference game, the Point University Skyhawks secured a vital victory over the Rio Grande Red Storm with a 21-14 win on October 25, 2025. The match, held during the Homecoming and Senior Day celebrations at Valley, Ala., was a display of strategic play and resilience by the Skyhawks.

The first half concluded with an advantage to the home team, as Point University led 7-0, a lead solidified by robust defense and strategic offense. The scoreline remained in favor of Point University as both teams entered the halftime break.

Throughout the game, notable plays included touchdowns from Samir Wylie and Treyvon Copelan, alongside significant yardage gains.
