Skyhawks Come Up Short in Late Rally Against Bryan College

In a thrilling matchup at Summers Gym, the Point University Skyhawks battled hard against the Bryan College Lions in a non-conference showdown but came up just short, falling 84–80.

The Skyhawks started strong behind an early layup from Kaden Paul and a three-pointer from Tae Story, but Bryan responded with a big run to take control. By halftime, the Lions had built an 11-point lead, 40–29.

Bryan continued to hold the upper hand through much of the second half, stretching the lead to as many as 20 points. But the Skyhawks refused to back down. A late surge saw Point outscore Bryan 51–44 in the final period, cutting the deficit to just four in the closing moments. Despite the strong finish, Bryan sealed the win at the free-throw line.

Robert Harris led the Skyhawks with 20 points off the bench, while Cahlib Edwards added 17 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Kenton Steele anchored the defense, pulling down 6 rebounds and collecting 4 steals.

The Skyhawks (3–1) will look to bounce back when they hit the road to face Kennesaw State University on November 12 at the Convocation Center in Kennesaw, GA.
