Skyhawks Shut Out Faulkner

West Point, Ga. - On September 27, 2025, the Point University Skyhawks women's college soccer team clinched a narrow but strategic 1-0 victory over the Faulkner (AL) Eagles in a regular season conference matchup held at River Bowl Stadium. This win improves the Skyhawks' current record to 7-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the conference.

The only goal of the game came early, with Hailey Hull finding the net at the 19:21 mark. Hull's goal, which proved to be the game-winner, was brilliantly assisted by Isabella Frullaney. This crucial play not only showcased the attacking prowess of Hull but also highlighted the collaborative spirit of the team.

The Skyhawks' defense was notably impenetrable, thanks in large part to goalkeeper Lisa Kelm, who performed exceptionally under pressure. Kelm secured a total of 6 saves throughout the match, contributing significantly to the team's clean sheet against the Eagles.

The first half concluded with Point University leading by a goal, and the score remained unchanged through to the final whistle. This game further established the Skyhawks as formidable contenders in the conference, reflecting their disciplined approach and resilience on the field.
