Skyhawks Stumble in Road Battle at Reinhardt

In the AAC Conference Football matchup at Ken White Stadium in Waleska, GA, the Point University Skyhawks faced a tough opponent in the Reinhardt Eagles, concluding with a 69-10 loss for the Skyhawks.

The game started with Reinhardt establishing a strong offensive front, quickly gaining a significant lead. Key moments included two long runs from the Eagles' Isaiah Payton and Braden Bohannon, who dashed for 66-yard and 68-yard touchdowns respectively. These plays were instrumental in boosting Reinhardt's score by halftime, which ended at 41-3 in favor of Reinhardt. The Skyhawks struggled on both sides of the ball in the 1st half. Point's lone score of the 1st half was a 38-yard field goal by Harold Maloof.

The second half was more of the same for the Skyhawks who were outscored 28-7 over the last two quarters. Reinhardt outgained Point on the ground rushing for 511 yards to the Skyhawks 104.

Despite the scoreline, the Skyhawks saw notable individual performances. Brandon Washing caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from David Hines, the lone touchdown of the afternoon. The two Skyhawks connected on the touchdown to begin the 4th quarter. Point University's defensive efforts were led by Caleb Wade and JoeSeth Steffin, who posted 11 and 7tackles respectively. Offensively, Treyvon Copelan fought hard on the ground, managing a total of 79 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Looking forward, the Skyhawks are set to face Kentucky Christian on November 15, 2025, in their regular season finale.
