Skyhawks Fall in New Orleans

New Orleans, LA - The Point University Skyhawks faced a challenging volleyball confrontation against Loyola on September 6, 2025, at The Den. In this regular season, conference game, the Skyhawks were unable to secure a win, concluding the match with a score of Point 0 - Loyola 3.

The first set saw the Skyhawks put up a fight, but they eventually fell to Loyola with a set score of 16-25. The second set proved more difficult, with Loyola dominating and concluding with a 25-4 lead. In the third and final set, despite a valiant effort by the Skyhawks to turn things around, they were defeated with a close score of 20-25, thus Loyola clinched the victory.

Highlighting individual performances, Kayla Johnson led the team with 7 kills followed closely by Tianna Kynard and Jasmyn Ceasar who contributed 6 and 5 kills, respectively.
